오는 6월 1일 지방선거에 나서는 국민의힘 대전서구 출마자들이 공약 실현을 위해 손을 맞잡았다.
국민의힘 서철모 대전서구청장 후보 및 서구 시·구의원 후보들이 6일 용문동 서철모 선거사무소에서 ‘약속합니다’ 간담회를 열고 공약통합을 위한 논의를 진행했다.
이날 간담회는 서 후보의 공약발표, 시·구의원 후보들의 지역별 현안 및 공약 의견 논의, 약속보드 서명 캠페인 순으로 진행됐다.
서철모 후보를 비롯해 시의원 출마자 김진오·이재경·이병철·이중호·김영삼·이한영 후보(선거구 순), 구의원 출마자 최병순·표정우·오세길·유봉권·정현서·정홍근·서지원·설재영·홍성영·조상현·정인화 후보(선거구 순), 신현대(비례) 등 총 19명 대전 서구 후보 전원이다
먼저 서철모 후보는 “지역 현안을 잘 알고 있는 시·구의원 후보의 의견을 수렴해 구청장 공약으로 더 중요한 것은 시장 공약으로 해야 한다”며 “서로 다른 공약들을 통일해 유권자들이 알기 쉽도록 정책을 제시하자”고 말했다.
후보들은 원팀이 돼 유기적으로 선거 운동할 것을 약속했다.이한영 후보는 “국민의 힘 후보 모두가 힘을 합쳐 공정선거를 위해 노력하자”고 강조했다.
간담회 후 후보들은 ‘약속보드’에 공약 이행을 약속하는 서명을 하며 올바른 정책공약 수립과 당선 후 성실이행을 재차 다짐했다. 또 향후 단톡방을 개설해 정책교류를 지속적으로 이어나가기로 했다.
