충남 금산군이 월영산과 부엉산을 잇는 출렁다리만 부분 개통하면서 이 곳을 찾는 관광객들의 안전에 비상이 걸렸다.
군은 부분 개통에 따른 안전에는 문제가 없다는 입장이지만 현재 공사중인 진·출입로 및 주차장 공사가 마무리가 안된 채 개통된 것이어서 비난을 피할 수 없게 됐다.
10일 브레이크 뉴스가 취재한 내용을 종합하면 금산군은 지난해 관광자원개발과 지역경제 활성화를 위해 '금강여울목 내발로 가는 사업'에 착수했다.
총사업비 150억원이 투입돼 달맞이 월영공원을 만드는 이 사업은 기간만 2025년까지다.
하지만 군은 접근로 공사인 데크길, 전망대, 주차장 확보 등 전체 사업이 끝나지 않은 상태에서 출렁다리만 서둘러 개통했다.

단지 군은 출렁다리가 풍동 시험 결과만 놓고 개통을 강행한 것으로 알려졌다.
이로인해 이곳을 이용하는 관광객들이 안전에 위협을 받고 있다. 일부 이동 구간은 보행자를 위한 통로마저도 확보가 안돼 관광객들이 주차장으로 내몰리면서 사고 발생 우려를 높이고 있다.
또, 테크 난간 이음쇠 고정볼트도 없고 풀려있어 추락위험에 노출돼 있다.
실제로 지난 1일 확인 결과 테크 난간과 지지대를 연결하는 이음쇠 일부는 고정이 안돼 있었다.
주변에는 건설자재가 적재돼 있었고, 안전과 통행을 안내하는 관리자는 없었다. 공사 내용를 알려주는 안내 표지판을 설치해야 하지만 이것 마저도 지키지 않았다.
이에대해 군 관계자는 "전체 사업이 마무리된 것이 아니다"라며 " 부족한 것은 확인해 설치해 나겠다"고 했다.
이를 두고 한 군민은 " 안전에 대한 인식이 너무 안이한 것 아니냐"는 반응이다.
인근 군민 K 모 씨도 "서둘러 개통한 이유를 알 수 없다"면서 "이곳을 지날 때마다 안전이 걱정된다"고 말했다.
