충남도의회, 지속가능한 입법평가 시스템을 구축

충남도의회, 선도적 입법지원 정책이 타 시도의회의 주목을 받고 있다.

충남도의회가 업무협의 및 벤치마킹을 위해 충북도의회 입법정책담당관실을 방문했다고 17일 밝혔다.

이번 방문은 충남도의회의 입법지원 절차 및 입법 사후평가제도 운영현황, 정책자료 제공 등의 우수사례를 공유하고자 추진됐다.

지난 1월 13일부터 새로운 지방자치법 시행으로 인사권이 독립된 전국 지방의회는 인사권 독립 이후 정책지원관 채용에 따른 입법정책담당관실 업무 조정 등 최선의 조직 개편안을 마련하기 위해 다각도로 노력하고 있다.

특히 충남도의회는 ‘입법평가팀’을 신설하고 ‘조례 사후 입법평가’를 통해 지속가능한 입법평가 시스템을 구축하는 등 선도적인 지방의회로 자리매김하고 있다.

충북도의회 음창규 입법운영팀장은 “양쪽 도의회가 당면 현안에 대한 정보를 교환하고, 우수사례를 공유할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었다”고 감사의 뜻을 전했다.

한편, 오는 25일에는 대전시의회 입법정책담당관실에서 충남도의회를 방문할 예정이다.
