강미애 세종시교육감 후보는 17일 "지방선거를 앞두고 진보교육감 교체를 위해서는 범보수 후보 단일화가 꼭 필요하다"고 강조했다.
앞서 강미애 후보는 지난 14일 선거사무소에서 "진정성과 명분이 뒷받침된 범보수 단일화 추진이 필요하다"라며 단일화에 대한 첫 입장을 밝힌 바 있다.
현재 세종에서는 강 후보를 비롯해 3선 교육감에 도전하는 전교조 출신 최교진 후보, 사진숙 후보, 이길주 후보, 최정수 후보, 최태호 등 6명이 출마했다.
