한국농어촌공사 고양지사(지사장 김광석)는 가정의 달을 맞아 복지사각지대에 놓인 농어촌 독거노인 2명에게 맞춤형 건강도시락과 밑반찬을 매주 1회 정기적으로 배달하는 행복한 진짓상 차려드리기 사회공헌 활동을 5월 19일부터 시작했다고 밝혔다.
행복한 진짓상 차려드리기는 농어촌 고령화와 코로나19 위기상황에 따른 결식이 우려되는 취약계층에 대한 식사지원 및 안부 확인을 통해 사회적 가치실현에 앞장서기 위해서 추진되었다.

지원대상자는 생활이 어려운 실질적인 수급자가 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 고양시로부터 만65세 이상으로 생활이 어려운 독거노인을 추천받아 선정되었으며, 진짓상 배달은 5월부터 12월까지 약 8개월간 실시될 예정이다.
김광석 지사장은 “우리 지사 직원들이 독거노인 분들을 부모님처럼 잘 보살펴드리고 말동무가 돼 건강하고 행복한 삶을 사실 수 있도록 노력하겠으며, 앞으로 복지 사각지대에 있는 농어촌 사회취약 계층을 적극적으로 찾아 지원함으로써 행복한 농어촌을 만드는데 최선을 다할 것”이라고 말했다. 고양=박정호기자
