충남도의회는 23일 도의회 사무처장실에서 제11대 의회 마무리 및 제12대 의회 개원 준비를 위한 종합계획 보고회를 개최했다.
이번 보고회는 제11대 의회를 성공적으로 마무리하고, 제12대 의회의 출범을 지원하기 위해 추진됐다.
도 의회는 개원에 필요한 사항을 꼼꼼히 점검하고 미비점에 대한 개선방안을 마련해 원활한 의회 운영에 만전을 기한다는 방침이다.
총무·의사·홍보·입법정책·예산정책담당관실과 각 상임위원회는 이날 세부계획 수립 및 추진상황을 보고했다. 부서별 업무 분담 및 협조사항을 협의하고, 관련 업무 추진에 따른 재원 확보 현황 등을 점검했다.
사무처는 제11대 의회 마무리와 관련해선 개원 70주년 기념식을 개최하고, 의정백서 및 의정활동 결산서 발간 등을 통해 제11대 의회의 의정활동을 결산할 계획이다.
제12대 의회 개원 준비를 위해서는 회의장 및 시스템 환경개선과 사무실 비품 정리 등을 통해 쾌적한 의정활동 기반을 마련하고, 당선인 의정설명회 및 초선의원 워크숍을 개최한다.
또 본회의장 전자회의 시스템 추가 구축 및 의회 홈페이지 정비 등을 통해 제12대 의회 운영 준비에 만전을 기하기로 했다.
각 상임위원회도 제11대 의회 결산 및 주요 안건을 꼼꼼히 처리하고 그동안의 문제점을 분석해 의회 운영 개선방안을 마련할 계획이다.
김찬배 사무처장은 “6·1일 지방선거를 앞두고 사무처 전직원이 마음가짐을 새롭게 다지고 있다”며 “제11대 의회 성과를 잘 마무리하는 동시에 제12대 의회가 산뜻하게 출범할 수 있도록 재정적·행정적 뒷받침에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
