울진군, 남울진농협 로컬푸드 직매장 임시 개장

24일 울진군(군수 전찬걸)에 따르면 지상 3층(연면적 2,869㎡) 규모로 조성된 직매장은 1층 로컬푸드 직매장, 2층 하나로마트, 3층 레스토랑 등으로 구성되어 있으며, 그 외 카페 등 지역민들의 문화 체험공간도 함께 마련되어 있다.

로컬푸드 직매장에서 취급하는 모든 농산물은 생산농가가 직접 수확·포장·가격결정·매장 진열 등을 통해 소비자에게 판매하며, 특히 직매장에 출하한 모든 농산물을 주기적으로 전문 분석기관에 의뢰하여 안정성 확보와 소비자 신뢰를 제고할 계획이다.

울진군은 로컬푸드의 조기정착과 함께 다양한 제철 농산물을 안정적으로 공급하고 참여농가 소득증대를 위해 지난 2년간 생산자 교육 및 농가조직화 교육, 소규모 시설하우스 등을 지원하였으며, 향후 점진적으로 참여 농가를 확대하여 신선채소, 과일, 발효식품, 잡곡류, 건조농산물 등 다양한 품목을 판매할 계획이다.

또한, 지역주민뿐만 아니라 울진을 방문한 관광객을 위해 휴대가 용이한 소포장 단위의 농산물 판매도 활성화할 계획이다.

전찬걸 울진군수는 “소비자에게 안전한 먹거리를 제공함과 동시에 참여농가의 안정적인 소득이 창출될 수 있도록 생산자와 소비자가 상생할 수 있는 로컬푸드 직매장을 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
