[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원특례시는 25일 창원시 문화도시지원센터에서 관광두레 신규 주민사업체 모집 설명회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
관광두레 사업은 지역주민 스스로 공동체를 구성해 주민 역량에 맞는 지역 고유의 관광사업을 창업·경영할 수 있도록 지원하는 주민주도형 정책사업이다.
이날 주민사업체 모집 설명회는 현재 활동 중인 타지역 관광두레PD를 초청해 관광두레사업 설명, 타지역 우수사례 소개, 주민사업체 모집 개요 및 지원사항 안내, 질의응답, 개별상담 순으로 진행됐다.
모집 대상은 여행, 숙박, 체험, 식음, 기념품 등 관광 관련 신규 사업을 계획 중인 3인 이상의 창업 준비 또는 경영개선을 희망하는 주민사업체다.
선정된 주민사업체는 최대 5년 동안 1억1000만 원 내에서 역량강화 교육 및 견학, 컨설팅, 파일럿 사업, 법률, 세무 등 맞춤형 지원을 받을 수 있다.
나재용 창원특례시 관광과장은 “관광두레 사업이 코로나로 어려움을 겪은 주민사업체에게는 다시 일어설 수 있는 용기를, 침체했던 지역 관광 및 경제에는 활기를 불어넣길 바란다”고 말했다.
