서철모 국민의힘 대전 서구청장 후보가 고3 청소년부터 노인 세대까지 지지를 이끌어내며 세대를 아우르는 지지기반 확장에 나섰다.
28일 서철모 캠프에 따르면 앞서 대전 서구 노인행복모임 및 서구 파크골프 회원 일동은 용문동 서철모 약속캠프 선거사무소를 찾아 서철모 지지를 선언했다. 박세용 전 대한노인회 대전서구지회장은 “어르신이 살기 좋고 활력이 넘치게 할 수 있는 서구를 만들어 줄 것이라 믿는다”고 응원했다.
서철모 후보는 이장우 대전시장 후보와 함께 어르신 공약으로 ▲경로당 운영비 65만에서 105만원으로 40만원 인상 ▲회장·사무장 활동비 월 30만원 지급 ▲65세 이상 시내버스 무료 승차 ▲서구 도안·한샘대교 파크골프장 신설 등을 약속한 바 있다.
대전 서구 청년창업 소상공인 100여명도 지지를 선언하고 “더이상 대전서구의 미래를 무능한 후보, 비민주적 정당에게 맡길 수 없다”며 “재활용 장종태 후보를 아웃시키고 젊고 능력 있는 서철모 후보를 선택해 윤석열 대통령의 국정을 뒷받침해야 한다”고 주장했다.
