파주시는 환경의 날(6월 5일)을 맞아 환경보전에 대한 시민참여와 공감대 확산을 위해 파주시지속가능발전협의회와 함께 오는 6월 3일부터 4일까지 공릉천 광장에서 ‘제27회 환경의 날 기념행사’를 추진한다고 밝혔다.

6월 3일 기념식은 환경보전 유공자 시상, 탄소중립 실천 서약식 및 퍼포먼스를 중심으로 식전공연과 환경사진전, 공릉천변 플로깅 등 부대행사가 진행될 예정이다.
조깅을 하면서 쓰레기를 줍는 활동인 플로깅 참여자에게는 자원봉사 시간이 인정된다.
6월 4일에는 파주시지속가능발전협의회 주관으로 손수건 만들기, 에코마켓, 자원순환 캠페인 등 17개 환경한마당 체험?홍보 부스가 운영된다.
