전국 20여개 단체가 최태호 세종시교육감 후보 지지를 선언했다.
최태호 후보는 30일 보도 자료를 통해 이같이 밝히고 약 20여개가 넘는 단체의 명단을 공개했다.
최 후보는 “그동안 정말 많은 단체에서 저를 지지해주신다고 연락을 주셨다”며 “저를 지지해주신 모든 단체에 정말 감사한 마음과 함께 성원에 보답하고자 마지막까지 최선을 다하겠다”고 다짐했다.
이어 “이제 선거가 막바지에 접어들어 최태호 대세론이 굳어져가는 시점에서 이번 지지선언이 갖는 의미가 매우 크다”며 “시민의 힘으로 세종교육을 바꿀 수 있도록 최교진 후보와 접전을 벌이고 있는 최태호를 꼭 선택해달라”고 호소했다.
최 후보는 "선거가 과열되면서 범보수 진영의 선두 주자인 최태호 후보를 깎아내리기 위해 악의적인 갖가지 음해성 의혹 등이 성행하고 있다"며 현재 증거들을 모아 선관위에 고발한 상태이며, SNS 및 카페 등에서 최 후보에 대한 조직적으로 악플을 다는 사람들도 증거를 수집해 고발할 예정"이라고 말했다.
