충남지사선거에서 김태흠 국민의힘 후보가 더불어민주당 양승조 후보를 누르고 당선됐다.
김 후보는 92.94%의 개표율을 보인 2일 오잔 4시 기준 54.32%의 득표율로 더불어민주당 양승조 후보(45.67%)에 8.65%포인트 차로 앞서 당선을 확정했다
