브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이수진 더불어민주당 의원(서울 동작을)은 3일 '이재명 책임론'과 관련 "이재명을 불러낸 게 누구인가, 당원들이 요청했고 당이 결정한 것"이라고 밝혔다.
강경파 초선 국회의원 모임인 '처럼회' 소속인 이수진 의원은 이날 자신의 페이스북을 통해 "이번 지방선거의 패배 원인을 이재명 의원, 송영길 전 서울시장 후보로 지목하는 것을 보고 착잡한 마음을 숨길 수가 없다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "이제 와 잘못된 결정이었다고 당원들 앞에 서서 당원들을 향해 말씀하실 수 있겠나"라며 "본인들이 고사했어야 한다고 생각할 수도 있으나, 대선 이후 당은 위기가 아니었나. 가용한 모든 자원을 활용했어야 했다"고 지적했다.
이어 그는 "선거 패배의 원인을 특정인으로 지목하고 그 사람들에 대한 마녀사냥이 되는 상황"이라며 "패배에서 오는 분노를 쏟아내기에 이보다 쉬운 게 없을 것이다. 그러나 패배의 원인이 어찌 한 두명에게 있겠나"라고 반문했다.
이수진 의원은 "지난 총선 이후 과반 의석을 가졌음에도 우왕좌왕했던 당의 실패에 대해, 국회의원들의 잘못에 대해, 당이 깨질까 하는 트라우마에 사로잡혀 패배 원인 분석을 제대로 하지 않거나 또는 알고 있음에도 실행으로 옮기지 못한 채 여기까지 왔다"면서 "당이 깨지는 순간에 직면하더라도 우리는 철저히 패인을 분석하고, 당을 제대로 끌고 가지 못한 지도세력에 책임을 지게 하면서 대중정당으로서 길을 걸어야 했다"고 주장했다.
처럼회 소속의 김용민 민주당 의원도 전날 페이스북에서 "지방선거의 결과와 무관하게 민주당의 문제는 지속적으로 노출돼 왔다. 개혁을 해서 실패했다는 의견과 개혁을 하지 못해서 외면받았다는 의견이 팽팽하게 맞서고 있다"면서 "민주당이 변하지 않고서는 아무것도 할 수 없다는 것을 너무 뼈저리게 느꼈다. 누구를 배척하고 편 가르는 정치가 아니라, 서로 다른 세력이 연대하고 가치를 실현하기 위해 함께 가는 정치를 하겠다. 특히 자연스럽게 표출된 세대 교체와 세력 교체에 대한 논의도 매우 건강하게 이어가겠다"고 말하기도 했다.
