창원특례시, ‘별빛 쏟아지는 경화역 철길야행’

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원특례시는 ‘별빛 쏟아지는 경화역 철길야행’ 행사를 오는 11일 오후 6시 진해구 경화역 공원 야외무대에서 개최한다고 8일 밝혔다.

이 행사는 문화체육관광부의 2022년 생태녹색관광 육성 공모사업으로 추진하는 행사로, 경화역 공원 내 야간 경관조명 설치를 기념하기 위해 지난해 처음 개최됐다.

행사 내용은 △김추리 문화해설사가 전하는 진해 근대역사 이야기 △아동 인형극 △인디밴드 ‘어쿠스틱 브라더스’, 가수 구태진의 통기타 공연 △별빛 쏟아지는 경화역 철길에서 즐기는 포토존 이벤트 등으로 다채롭게 꾸며진다.

특히 진해 근대역사를 주제로 하는 토크콘서트는 진해에 스민 일제강점기 아픈 역사를 되짚어보고, 가까이 있지만 무심코 지나쳤던 우리 지역 근대문화유산을 알아가는 소중한 시간이 될 것으로 보인다.

김화영 창원특례시 문화체육관광국장은 “지난해 이 행사를 처음 열면서 벚꽃 명소로만 알려졌던 경화역이 야간 걷기 명소로 입소문 나기 시작했다”며 “거리두기가 해제된 올해 행사에는 더 많은 시민들이 찾아주셔서 공연도 즐기시고, 경화역공원의 새로운 매력을 발견하는 시간을 갖길 바란다”고 말했다.
