한국수자원공사-한국건설자원협회, 업무협약 체결

‘탄소중립 및 ESG 경영실천을 위한 자원순환형 수변도시 조성을 위한 업무협약이 체결됐다.

한국수자원공사과 한국건설자원협회는 7일 서울시 서초구 한국건설자원협회에서 업무협약을 갖고 상호협력체계를 구축하기로 했다.

협약은 △ 순환골재 사용 확대를 위한 제반 사항 협력·지원, △ 건설자원의 미래 수요 공유 및 공공예산 절감을 위한 상호 노력, △ 건설폐기물 재활용 활성화를 위한 홍보 협력·지원, △ 순환골재 사용을 통한 경제·사회·환경적 효과 모니터링 등이다.

양 기관은 이번 협약체결을 시작으로 향후 실무협의회를 구성, 운영하며 협력과제를 구체화하고 실질적인 협력방안을 모색, 모니터링하는 등 협약 이후 지속성 및 실행력 확보를 위해 노력한다.

또 "공사가 추진 중인 기후환경 탄력도시의 조성단계부터 순환자원을 적극적으로 활용함으로써 탄소중립 및 자원순환 사회실현을 촉진하고, 나아가 공사의 ESG 경영실천에도 긍정적인 역할을 할 것"으로 기대하고 있다.
