코레일테크, 수협은행과 태안 환경정화 봉사활동

코레일테크가 지난 17일 충남 태안 연포해수욕장에서 수협은행과 함께 해양환경정화 봉사활동을 실시했다.

이번 활동은 수협은행과 체결한 업무협약의 일환으로 해양 환경 보호에 동참하고 어업인을 지원하기 위해 진행됐다.

이날 오전 10시부터 15시까지 태안 해안가에서 진행한 봉사활동에는 임재익 대표이사를 비롯한 코레일테크 임직원들과 수협은행 임직원 등 총 50여 명이 참여했다.

코레일테크는 수협은행과 협업하여 해안가 쓰레기 수거 및 폐어구를 제거하였으며 아울러 어촌계 및 어업인 지원 활동도 함께 진행했다. 지원 활동으로는 서산수협 도황어촌계에 복사기 2대(1백만 원 상당)를 기부해 어업 활동에 힘을 보탰다.

임재익 대표이사는 “환경 보전에 힘을 보태고 환경문제에 지속적으로 관심을 갖는 등 ESG 경영을 실천할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
