국민의힘 세종시의원 당선인은 21일 오후 국민의힘 세종시당에서 세종시기자협회와 간담회를 열고 국가균형발전 등 지역 현안을 논의했다.
간담회에는 김충식·김광운·김동빈·윤지성·김학서·최원석·이소희 당선인 등이 참석했다.
김광운 원내대표는 "세종 발전을 위해 전반기 원 구성을 위한 상임위 배분에 대해 민주당 원내대표와 협상에 나서겠다"고 밝혔다.
당선인들은 행정수도 완성에 따른 균형발전과 구도심 발전 방안, 로컬푸드 활성화 방안 등을 논의했다.
또 국회 세종의사당 건립과 대통령 세종집무실 설치 등 지역 현안에 대해서도 의견을 나눴다.
김 원내대표는 "민선 4기 시정과제 등이 세종시 발전에 도움이 될 있도록 집행부와 협조해 나갈 방침"이라고 말했다.
서중권 기자협회 회장은 "세종시가 행정수도 완성하기 위해서는 무엇보다 당선인들의 역할이 중요하다“며 신도시와 구도심이 상생발전할 수 있도록 당선인들이 힘을 모아달라"고 당부했다.
