고양시가 지역 우수 수제품 발굴과 수제품사업 육성을 위해 ‘제3회 고양시 수제품 경진대회’를 개최한다.
공고일 현재 고양시에 사업장 또는 주민등록상 주소지를 둔 개인이거나 고양시 소재 학교에 재학 중인 학생이면 누구나 출품 신청 가능하며 신청을 희망하는 자는 1차 서류접수와 2차 작품접수를 하면 된다.
1차 서류접수 기간은 7월 18일부터 29일까지다.

접수방법은 출품원서를 담당자 이메일로 제출해야 하며 이후 실물작품을 8월 4일 고양어울림누리 어울림미술관에 제출하면 된다.
출품분야는 ▲도자 ▲금속 ▲목재?칠보 ▲섬유?가죽 ▲종이 ▲타분야 등 총 6개 분야로. 현대적 디자인 트렌드에 부합되는 예술성과 상품성이 결합된 가죽, 유리, 종이, 금속, 나무, 짚, 흙 등 다양한 재료를 활용해 손으로 만든 창조적인 개발 상품이어야 한다.
시는 수제품 관련 전문가로 구성된 심사위원회의 심사를 거쳐 16개 입상작품을 선정할 예정이다.
더불어 8월 12일부터 14일까지 입상작 전시회를 열어 고양시민 누구나 관람할 수 있도록 할 계획이다.
선정된 16개 작품의 입상자에게는 ‘K-핸드메이드페어 2022’ 입점 지원, 고양시 수제품 플리마켓 행사 참여 등의 혜택을 제공한다.
