충청권 7개 철도사업에 1조 992억원이 투입된다.
국가철도공단은 27일 올해 충청권 7개 고속·일반철도 건설 사업에 1조 992억원을 투입한다고 밝혔다.

경부2단계 대전북연결선은 곡선이 심한 대전 도심 북측 통과 구간의 선형 개량을 위해 고속전용선 5.96km를 건설하는 사업이다. 올해 사업비 547억원이 투입되며 2025년말 개통 예정이다. 사업이 완료되면 경부고속철도 전 노선이 고속 전용선으로 운행돼 열차 안전성 확보와 속도 향상, 승차감 개선 등이 기대된다.
