【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 박범수, 이하 한울본부)는 29일‘2022년 제3차 한울본부 원전소통위원회 정기회의’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

원전소통위원회는 한울본부장 등 본부 주요 간부와 군의원, 지역발전전문가 등 16명으로 구성되어 원전본부-지역주민 간 상시소통체계 구축에 기여하고 있다.
지난 2월 23일 제1차 원전소통위원회를 마무리한 후 계속되는 코로나19 상황으로 인해 4개월 만에 정기회의를 개최하였다. 이번 회의에서는‘해양생물 유입대비 조치 현황’, ‘사업자지원사업 추진계획’등본부 현안을 투명하게 공개하고 자유롭게 의견을 나누었다.
박범수 본부장은“원전 안전은 국민들, 특히 원전지역 주민들의 생활과 직결된 문제로 여러분들과의 소통의 무엇보다 중요하다”며, 투명한 원전운영정보 공개와 소통의 활성화를 위해 계속해서 노력하겠다“고 강조하였다.
이에 배호식 울진고등학교 교장은 “한울본부에서 직접 현안에 대해 설명하고 의견을 나눌 기회를 만들어 주셔서 더욱 신뢰가 간다”며, “앞으로도 편안하게 이야기 나눌 수 있는 소통의 장이 마련되었으면 한다”고 화답하며 회의가 마무리됐다.
한쳔 한울본부는 계속해서 원전소통위원회를 통해 지역과의 소통을 활발히 이어나갈 예정이다.
