김태흠 충남도지사 당선인의 도지사직 인수위원회인 힘쎈 충남 준비위원회(위원장 김영석)는 30일 도청 대회의실에서 ‘민선 8기 도정 운영 방향 및 도정 과제 도민보고회’를 갖고, 민선8기 비전과 목표, 전략, 핵심 과제 등을 발표했다.
우선 민선 8기 도정 비전은 ‘힘쎈 충남 대한민국의 힘’으로 최종 결정했다.
‘힘쎈 충남’은 도정 현안 과제를 강력한 추진력으로 신속히 해결하겠다는 의지를, ‘대한민국의 힘’은 국가의 성장과 발전을 이끌 역사의 주역이 되겠다는 의지를 담았다.
