세종시, 적극행정 중점과제 선정 추진

세종시(시장 최민호)가 올해 적극행정 중점과제로 ‘도시숲 조성’, ‘방치건축물 재건축’, ‘금강보행교 운영’을 최종 선정하고 추진에 나선다.

시는 2021년부터 시민들이 직접 느끼고 체감할 수 있는 고품질의 정책 성과를 창출하기 위해, 시가 추진 중인 일부 사업을 적극행정 중점과제로 선정해 특별관리하고 있다.

선정기준은 주민체감도가 높고, 장기적으로 해결하지 못한 과제, 이해 관계자 간 갈등이 첨예하거나 혁신·창의적 해법이 필요한 과제 등이 해당된다.

올해 선정한 적극행정 중점과제는 시민들의 목소리를 담기 위해 ‘세종시티앱’을 통해 중점과제 후보에 대한 시민투표를 진행해 의미를 더했다.

먼저 도시숲 조성은 미세먼지로 대기질이 악화되고, 온난화가 심화되면서 도심 속 녹지확충을 위한 다양한 형태의 숲을 조성, 세종시민들의 삶의 질 향상을 통해 주민만족도를 제고할 계획이다.

방치건축물 재건축은 채권 과다로 자체 사업 추진이 어려워진 공동주택을 시가 개입해 재건축으로 주거안정화를 도모하는 것이 목적이다.

시는 2018년부터 공사재개를 위한 정비계획을 수립하고, 시-조합 간 공동시행을 약정해 재건축정비사업을 추진, 지난해 12월 방치건축물을 철거했으며 올해 중 분양을 거쳐 입주까지 지원할 계획이다.

지난 3월 개방 이후 세종시 대표 관광지로 발돋움한 금강보행교도 시민중심 행정 구현을 위해 시민 의견을 적극 청취해 시설물 관리의 시행착오를 최소화할 방침이다.

시는 세종시티앱, 현장설문조사 등을 통해 시민의 의견을 청취하고 6개 분야 34개 과제를 선정후 장·단기별로 나눠 조치하는 동시에 시민주권회의, 안전도시위원회, 시-한국토지주택공사 협의체 등의 논의를 통해 개선에 나서고 있다.
