김경일 파주시장은 5일 대한노인회파주시지회 부설 노인대학원에 방문해 격려했다고 밝혔다.
이번 방문은 지난 5월 24일 입학한 제6기 노인대학원 어르신 수강생 112명을 만나는 자리로, 배움의 열정이 가득한 어르신들을 격려하고, 다양한 의견을 청취하는 소통의 시간을 가졌다.

또한, 파주시 어르신들의 여가활동과 교육 기회를 넓히기 위해 힘쓰고 계신 김윤재 대한노인회파주시지회장님과 정행직 노인대학장님께 감사한 마음을 전했다.
김경일 파주시장은 “100세가 보편화되는 시대에 건강과 함께 평생교육이 중요하다”면서, “대학원에서 다양한 배움을 찾아 행복한 노년을 즐기시길 바란다”고 말했다.
