[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 최근 합천과 밀양에서 대형 산불이 발생하면서 이에 대한 산불대응능력 강화 훈련이 실시됐다.
경남소방본부(본부장 김종근)는 산림화재 신속진화를 위한 산불대응능력 강화 훈련이 13일 밀양시에서 실시했다.
이상기후 등의 요인으로 산불이 대형화·장기화가 되면서 올 한해 상반기에만 경북·강원 등 전국적으로 대형 산불이 다수 발생했다.
119 출동통계에 따르면 올 한해 상반기에만 최근 5년 평균 대비 1.4배(76건)의 산불이 발생했으며, 다가오는 가을·겨울철에도 산불 발생 증가가 예상된다.
이에 따라 경남소방본부는 인명과 시설보호 우선의 소방임무 수행에 적극적으로 대응하고자 비상 급수훈련을 실시했다.
이번 훈련은 ▲산림 내 이동식 수조 설치 숙달 ▲소방차량에서 이동식 수조까지의 급수 ▲급수 가능 거리 확장성 검토를 위한 동력소방펌프 활용 급수훈련 ▲산불진화장비세트 활용 급수 및 진화 훈련을 중심으로 진행됐다.
이민규 방호구조과장은 “이번 산불 훈련을 통해 상황 발생 시 신속하고 효과적인 대응으로 산불 피해 최소화에 최선을 다하겠다”며 “더불어 산림 내 화기 휴대 금지, 논·밭두렁 소각 금지 등 각별한 주의를 당부드린다”고 전했다.
