파주시 교하도서관(관장 이현주)은 오는 15일 교하도서관 3층 브라우징룸에서 ‘제11회 청소년 독서캠프’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
교하·운정권 학교와 함께하는 청소년 문화연대 협력 사업의 일환으로 실시되는 ‘교하도서관 청소년 독서캠프’는 선정한 토론 도서를 미리 읽고 또래 청소년들과 멘토가 교하도서관에 모여 토론 및 소통하는 프로그램이다.

이번 독서캠프는 운정고, 한빛고, 파주자유학교, 두일중 청소년 35명과 김하은 작가, 노동욱 삼육대학교 교수, 박성경 작가, 이미희 파주시 청소년재단 간사, 유재영 소설가가 멘토로 참여한다.
독서캠프 주제 도서는 사전 회의를 거쳐 청소년 문학작품 ‘오늘 밤 앱을 열면’(저자 김하은)을 선정했으며, 이 도서에는 코로나19, 디지털 성범죄, 가정폭력, 다이어트, 따돌림 등 청소년들의 고민이 담겨 있다.
참여 학생들은 주제 도서를 미리 읽은 후, 캠프 당일 멘토와 조를 이뤄 자유로운 토론을 펼치며, 특히 책의 저자인 김하은 작가도 멘토로 참여해 소통의 시간을 가질 예정이다.
이현주 교하도서관장은 ”코로나19로 인해 중단됐던 교하도서관 청소년 독서캠프가 2년 만에 재개돼 기쁘다“며, ”이번 독서캠프로, 지역 청소년들이 도서관에서 책을 매개로 다양한 의견을 나누는 시간이 되길 바란다“고 말했다.
