김경일 파주시장은 지난 18일 시장 접견실에서 민주평통 파주시협의회 자문위원들과 간담회를 가졌다.

이날 간담회는 김경일 파주시장, 최정윤 민주평통 파주시협의회장 및 민주평통 파주시협의회 자문위원 등 10여 명이 참석한 가운데 남북관계 등 평화통일에 대한 의견을 나누고 향후 사업 방안에 대해 논의했다.

최정윤 민주평통 파주시협의회장은 “하반기에 평화통일 공감대 형성을 위한 여러 사업을 계획하고 있다”며 “시에서도 많은 관심과 협조를 부탁드린다”고 전했다.

김경일 파주시장은 “파주는 접경지역으로 남북관계 등 평화통일에 있어서 지역의 오피니언 리더인 민주평통 자문위원의 역할이 매우 크다”며, “앞으로도 시민에게 다가갈 수 있는 사업을 많이 해주길 바란다”고 말했다.
