국민의힘 세종시당 위원장에 류재화 변호사가 선출됐다.
류 변호사는 19일 실시된 투표에서 대의원 107명 중 97명이 참여 59표를 얻어 위원장에 당선됐다.
지역대표전국위원에는 송동섭이 무투표로 당선됐다.
이날 오전 10시부터 시작된 선거는 19시 정각 김일수선관위원장의 선거 종료를 선언으로 끝이 났다.
앞서 김중로 전 위원장, 류재화 시장직 인수위 대변인, 이성용, 최 석씨 등 4명이 후보등록을 마쳤으나 이성용 후보가 18일 후보 사퇴와 함께 김중로 후보를 지지하고 나서 3명의 후보만 선거를 치뤘다.
세종시당 선관위는 나머지 후보의 득표수는 공개하지 않았다.
신임 류제화 위원장 당선자는 서울대 경영학과를 졸업했으며 서울대 법학전문대학원을 거쳐 변호사로 일해왔다.
이후, 대통령직 인수위원회 지역균형발전특별위원회와 세종시장직 인수위원회 대변인으로 활동했다.
