경남TP, 마산공업고등학교 AI 인재 양성 특강

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경남테크노파크(원장 노충식)는 20일, 마산공업고등학교에서 AI 인재 양성을 위한 ‘클라우드 기반 AI 스마트팩토리 확산’에 대한 특강을 실시했다.

이번 행사는 과학기술정보통신부와 경상남도가 주관하고, 정보통신산업진흥원이 전담하는 ‘ICT이노베이션스퀘어 확산 사업’의 일환으로, 지역 SW기업 재직자를 대상으로 한 지난 특강에 이어 세 번째로 마련됐다.

특강이 진행된 마산공업고등학교는 4차 산업혁명 시대를 주도할 스마트 기술 인재 육성을 위해 스마트팩토리과를 신설한 바 있으며, 이번 행사를 통해 최신 기술 동향을 파악하고, 학생들의 진로를 탐색하는 시간을 가졌다.

마산공업고등학교 배경호 교장은 “학생들에게는 새로운 분야에 대한 도전이 생소할 수 있지만, 이러한 기회가 많아져 학생들의 진로 탐색에 도움이 되었으면 한다”고 말했다.

경남TP 조유섭 정보산업진흥본부장도 “이번 특강을 통해 학생들에게 해당 분야를 심도 있게 알릴 수 있는 기회가 되고, 미래 신산업 분야의 기술인재로 성장하는 계기가 될 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
