【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한울원자력본부(본부장 박범수, 이하 한울본부)는 21일 노인요양시설, 장애인시설 등 울진관내 사회복지시설에 지역 농축산물로 구성한건강식 세트를 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에서는 삼복더위 극복을 돕고, 지역 농축산물 시장 활성화를 위해 울진관내 농축산물로 구성한 닭백숙밀키트485세트와 수박 130개를14개 복지시설에 전달했다. 8월 초에는 말복을 대비해 닭백숙 밀키트265세트와 수박 50개를 다문화 시설 등 복지기관 5개소에 전달할 예정이다.
전달식에 참석한 전병호 울진군노인요양원장은“한울본부가 울진관내 복지시설에 보내주시는 세심한 지원 덕분에 어르신들이 무사히 여름을 날 수 있겠다”며 감사를 표했다. 이어 신철호 울진군장애인보호작업장 원장은 “코로나19 사태가 장기화되는 상황에서도 한울본부가 울진군 소외계층을 위해 다양한 지원을 해주는 덕에 걱정을 덜고 있어 늘 감사하다”고 전했다.
이에 박범수본부장은 “이번 후원 물품은 울진에서 생산한 농축산물로 지역경제 활성화에 보탬이 되리라 기대한다”며, “지역주민들이 코로나19와 산불 피해로 힘든 시간을 보내는 와중에 어김없이 찾아온 무더위를 무사히 극복하길 기원하며, 앞으로도 한울본부는 지역사회와 공존하는 공동체로서 최선을 다하겠다”고화답했다.
