[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 제37대 경상남도 행정부지사에 최만림 전 행정안전부 지방재정정책관이 25일 취임한다.
별도의 취임식은 개최하지 않으며, 25일 박완수 도지사에게 임용신고를 한 후 공식 업무를 시작할 예정이다.
최만림 신임 행정부지사는 경남 고성 출신으로 창원 경상고등학교와 한국외국어대학교 행정학과를 졸업하고 제37회 행정고시를 합격해 공직에 입문했다.
이후 사천시 부시장, 경남도 미래산업본부장, 동남권발전국장, 기획조정실장을 거쳐 대통령직속 정책기획위원회 기획운영국장, 행정안전부 재난대응정책관, 지방재정정책관 등 중앙정부의 주요 직위를 역임해 지방행정과 중앙정부 업무에 정통한 인물로 평가된다.
최만림 행정부지사는 그동안 경험한 전문 능력을 살려 ‘활기찬 경남, 행복한 도민’의 민선8기 비전을 위해 경남의 역점사업을 성공적으로 이끌 것으로 기대된다.
한편 하병필 전 행정부지사는 행정안전부 기획조정실장으로 자리를 옮긴다.
