거제시, 민선8기 첫 추경 1조 2,815억원 규모 편성

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 거제시 민선8기 첫 추가경정예산이 올해 당초예산보다 1,564억원 증액한 1조 2,815억원 규모로 편성해 22일 시의회에 제출했다.

올해는 상반기 지방선거로 제1회 추경예산 편성 시기가 늦어져 국고보조사업 등 정부와 경남도 지원 예산 반영 규모가 커지면서 예년보다 규모가 큰 추경예산안을 제출하게 됐다.

이번 추경예산안은 증액된 보통교부세와 조정교부금을 주요재원으로 고유가와 물가 상승으로 고통받는 시민생활 안정 지원과 시민불편 및 코로나19 대응으로 미처 대응하지 못했던 주요현안사업 해소에 중점을 두고 편성했다.

제233회 거제시의회 임시회에서 박환기 부시장은 제1회 추경예산 제안 설명으로 ▲국지도58호선(송정IC~문동간) 도로 건설(92억원), ▲지역사랑상품권 발행지원(95억원), ▲전세버스 및 택시기사 소득안정자금 등 지원(22억원), ▲저소득층 긴급 생활안정지원금(36억원), ▲코로나19 입원·격리자 생활지원비 지원(193억원) 등의 예산편성을 설명했다.

시가 제출한 예산안은 시의회 상임위원회와 예산결산특별위원회 심의를 거쳐 오는 29일 확정될 예정이다.
