제주항공은 올 8월부터 인천-나리타·오사카 노선에 매일 운항을 시작하는 등 8월 한 달간 국제선 25개 노선에서 총 1004회 운항한다고 25일 밝혔다. 이는 지난 6월에 비해 약 329%, 7월과 비교하면 약 44% 증가한 수치다.

노선별 운항횟수를 살펴보면 동남아 노선이 654회로 가장 많고, 괌/사이판 등 대양주 노선이 160회, 일본 노선 140회, 지난 6월 신규 취항한 몽골 노선 34회, 중국 노선 10회 순이다. 인천-호찌민 노선을 비롯해 무안-방콕/다낭 등 무안국제공항에서 출발하는 국제선 운항도 코로나19 이후 새롭게 시작한다.
