고양시와 고양시지역사회보장협의체가 25일 덕양구청 대회의실에서 관련 부서 공무원·민간 복지시설 종사자·지역주민 등 60여 명이 참여한 가운데‘사회보장 분야 별 민관협력 워크숍’을 개최했다.
고양특례시는 제5기(2023~2026) 고양시지역사회보장계획 수립을 위해 ▲시민욕구조사 ▲4기 지역사회보장계획 진단·연구 용역 등을 추진했다.

이번 워크숍에서는 위 내용을 바탕으로 고양시의 중점 사업을 돌봄·건강·고용·문화·안전·스마트 복지·인프라 총 7가지 분야로 나눠 분임 토의가 진행됐다.
또한 5기 계획 내 포함 여부 및 우선순위 선정 등 실행력 있는 중장기 계획을 수립하기 위한 논의가 이루어졌다.
특히 사업 선별 관련하여 다양한 시민의 의견을 듣기 위해 공무원뿐만 아니라 민간 사회복지 종사자와 동 지역사회보장협의체 민간위원장 등이 참여해 의견을 전달했다.
고양시는 이번 워크숍의 결과를 토대로 각 부서마다 선정 사업을 구체화시키는 작업을 진행하고, 8월에 시민 공청회를 진행할 예정이다. 고양=박정호기자
