브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 한국토지주택공사(LH) 직원들이 업무상 미리 알게된 도시 개발 정보 등을 통해 땅 투기를 해온 것으로 감사원 조사에서 드러났다.
감사원은 26일 '국토개발정보 관리 및 농지법 위반 감독 실태' 감사 보고서를 통해 이같이 밝혔다.
이 보고서에 따르면 LH 임직원들은 업무상 알게된 개발사업 정보를 토대로 인접지구 토지를 본인 또는 지인 등의 명의로 매입하는 방법으로 땅 투기에 나섰다.
LH 서울지역본부의 A 직원은 업무 보고를 보고받고 결재하는 과정에서 남양주에 도시 개발 사업이 진행 중이라는 사실을 확인한 뒤 2018년 8월 해당 지구와 인접한 토지와 건물을 지인들과 함께 사들였다.
LH 대전충남지역본부의 B 직원은 2020년 7월 경영투자심의위원회 심의 자료 검토 과정에서 대전 모 지구의 개발 사업 정보를 알게되자, 같은해 11월 해당 지구와 인접한 토지를 배우자와 공동 명의로 매입했다.
LH 본사 직원 C씨는 지난 2019년 7월말 보고를 받는 과정에서 전북 공공지원 민간 임대주택 지구 우선 추진 후보지 선정 결과를 알게되자, 같은해 9월 위 지구와 인접한 토지를 본인 명의로 매수했다.

또한 26일 열린 대정부질문 경제 분야에서도 LH 임직원의 기강해이 문제가 도마 위에 올랐다.
임이자 국민의힘 의원은 한덕수 국무총리를 상대로 한 질의응답에서 "LH의 (출장 골프) 기강해이를 들어봤느냐"고 묻자, 한 총리는 "언론에서 봤다. 그건 말도 안되는 일"이라고 말했다.
한 총리는 이어 "부동산 투기 이런 문제 때문에 처벌받은 지가 얼마나 됐다고 또 그런 기강해이적인 요소를 갖고 있는지 정말 유감스럽다"며 "합당한 문책을 통해 LH가 공기업으로서 원래의 목적 달성을 위해 노력하게 해야 한다"고 강조했다.
임이자 의원도 "LH 직원들이 주중에 출장을 빙자해 골프를 치고도 부끄러운 줄 모르고 변명으로 일관하고 있다"면서 "사장이 문재인 정부 때 국세청장을 했던 김현준 사장 아닌가. 알박기를 하니까 이런 문제가 생기는 것"이라고 주장했다. 이에 한 총리는 "합당한 문책을 하겠다"고 답했다.

In the process of receiving a report at the end of July 2019, LH headquarters employee C bought the land adjacent to the above district in September of the same year in his name when he learned the results of the selection of a preferred site for the Jeonbuk public-supported private rental housing district.

This problem arises because of the hard work," he claimed. In response, Prime Minister Han replied, "I will take a reasonable reprimand."
