고양시는 행주산성 야간개장을 확대 운영한다.
시는 매년 7월과 8월 2달간 운영하던 야간개장을 3월부터 10월까지 연장한다고 밝혔다.
행주산성 야간개장은 매월 2·4째주 토요일 무료로 운영된다.
관람시간은 오후 6시부터 오후 10시까지이며 입장 마감은 오후 9시다.
올해 행주산성 야간개장 첫 시작일은 오는 8월 13일 토요일이다.

행주산성은 고즈넉한 분위기의 역사문화유산과 아름다운 한강 야경을 함께 즐길 수 있어 야간 관람 명소로 손꼽혀 왔다.
고양시는 2022년 상반기에 행주산성 내 문화재와 공간 특성에 맞는 야간 경관조명 확충 설치하고 관람객들을 맞이할 준비를 마쳤다.
관람객은 행주산성의 시작인 대첩문으로부터 권율장군 동상을 지나 기념관을 둘러보며 행주대첩의 역사를 살필 수 있다.

이후 산책로를 오르는 길에 덕양정에서 잠시 휴식을 취한 후, 대첩탑이 있는 정상에 오르면 시원한 강바람과 함께 탁트인 한강 야경까지 함께 즐길 수 있다.
주차는 행주산성 제1주차장과 제2주차장을 이용할 수 있으며 주차비는 일반운영 시간에는 유료, 오후 6시 이후 야간개장을 위해 입장하는 경우 무료로 이용할 수 있다.
시 관계자는 “야간관람 확대 운영으로 보다 많은 시민들이 행주산성의 야경을 즐기며 힐링하는 시간을 가지기 바란다”고 전했다.
