경남도 보건환경연구원은 지난 1월부터 6월까지 30건의 건강기능식품을 검사한 결과 모두 기준·규격에 ‘적합’했다고 밝혔다.
연구원은 식품의약품안전처에서 지정한 다소비 건강기능식품 7개유형(프로폴리스추출물, 글루코사민, 밀크씨슬추출물, 코엔자임 Q10, 마리골드꽃 추출물, 엠에스엠, 쏘팔메토열매추출물) 및 영양소 제품 유형(비타민 및 무기질)에 대해 연간 120여건의 검사를 실시하고 있다.
건강기능식품은 건강에 도움을 줄 수 있는 성분을 간단히 섭취할 수 있는 식품의 형태로 제조·가공한 식품을 말한다.
