[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경상남도자치경찰위원회(이하 자경위)는 28일 제2기 정책자문위원회 출범식 겸 제6차 정책자문위원회 회의를 개최했다.

제2기 정책자문위원회는 기존 1기 위원 모두가 연임 의사를 밝혀 9명 전원이 연임됐으며, 위원장에는 허영희 한국국제대 교수가 선정됐다.

이날 회의에서 자경위는 제2기 정책자문위원회 임원진 선출, 자치경찰 홍보영상 제작 관련 아이디어 토론, 내년도 당초 예산 편성 시 도민들의 의견을 듣기 위한 심도 있는 토론을 했다.

위원들은 홍보영상 제작 시 도내 일반인 모델을 공고하고 사용자제작콘텐츠(UCC) 공모전을 통해 도민들의 참여를 독려해 자치경찰에 대한 홍보 효과를 극대화할 것을 주문했다.

한편, 경상남도자치경찰위원회 정책자문위원회는 자치경찰사무 전반에 대한 자문과 지역사회 각계의 효율적·균형적 의견 수렴의 역할을 하며, 제2기 정책자문위원회 위원의 임기는 이달 28일부터 2023년 7월 27일까지이다.
