창원특례시, 가음정공원 다목적구장 조명시설 설치 완료

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 가음정공원 내 다목적구장(축구장 및 풋살장)의 조명시설 설치공사를 완료했다고 3일 밝혔다.

가음정공원 못안 다목적구장은 사업비 특별교부세 5억원을 들여 인조잔디 구장 교체와 차양 시설 및 족구장 조명타워 설치를 올해 1월에 완료했으나, 사업비 부족으로 다목적구장 내 야간 조명시설은 설치하지 못했다.

이에 창원시는 공원 이용객들의 불편을 해소하고자 특별교부세 2억원을 투입해 조명시설 설치 전기공사를 진행했다.

본 사업은 다목적구장 조명타워 4본, 조명타워 당 등기구(600W) 5개를 설치했으며, 야간조도측정 작업 및 시운전 후 8월 중 가동 예정 중에 있다.

유재준 푸른도시사업소장은 “가음정공원 다목적구정 정비를 통해 지역 주민들의 건강 증진과 쾌적한 공원을 조성하는 데에 최선의 노력을 다하겠으며, 최근 코로나19 재유행에 따라 다목적구장을 이용하는 모든 시민이 안전하고 쾌적하게 이용할 수 있도록 시민들께서도 코로나19 안전수칙에 적극 협조를 당부드린다.”고 말했다.
