[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경상남도의회 의원 연구단체인 경남관광산업연구회(회장 조영명)는 2일과 3일 도내 주요관광지인 거제시 일원에서 관광현황을 살펴보기 위해 현장답사를 실시했다.

한동안 코로나 19로 움츠러들었던 도내 관광산업이 사회적거리두기가 해제되면서 이제 막 기지개를 켠 만큼 휴가철을 맞이한 도내 대표 관광지를 둘러보고 현장의 애로사항을 청취, 향후 관광산업을 활성화하고 지원할 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위해 추진됐다.

연구회는 지난 3월 개장한 거제 파노라마 케이블카를 방문해 운영 현황과 애로사항을 청취하고, 이어 거제시의회를 방문, 윤부원 의장과 간담회를 갖고 관광산업발전방안과 경남도 차원의 지원방안을 논의했다.
