[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시의회 의원연구단체인 도시발전연구회(대표의원 이정희)는 4일 시의회 소회의실에서 간담회를 갖고 하반기 활동을 시작했다.

도시발전연구회는 창원특례시의 현황과 특성을 확인하고 도시발전을 위한 현실적 ·지속적 발전 방향을 연구하는 의원연구단체다.

이정희 대표의원을 비롯해 강창석, 김경수, 김경희, 김미나, 김우진, 김혜란, 박선애 등 총 9명으로 구성됐다.

이날 간담회에서 김혜란 의원을 총무로 선출하고, 2022년 하반기 의원연구단체 활동 계획 및 운영 일정과 정책연구과제 선정에 대해 논의했다.

이정희 대표의원은 “도농간 도시발전 격차를 줄이기 위한 방안을 하반기 연구과제로 정했다”며 “선진도시 정책 발굴은 창원특례시의 위상을 높이기 위한 중요한 과제 중 하나”라고 말했다.

이어 “창원시 특성을 반영한 도시문화 활성화 방안을 모색해 창원시민의 문화수준을 한층 높일 수 있도록 하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
