울진군, 간이상수도 전기요금 전액지원

현재 ‘발전소 주변지역 지원에 관한 법률’에 따라 올해 1월부터 양질의 지방상수도를 공급받고 있는 9개 읍·면 18,274가구는 매월 5,000원의 상수도 요금을 감면받고 있는 반면, 지방상수도 공급이 불가한 산간 오지마을에는 아무런 지원이 없다는 점을 고려하여 ‘한울본부 - 울진군 상생발전협의 안건’으로 채택해 이번 사업을 시행하게 되었다.

한울본부와 울진군은 8월 중 업무협약을 체결할 계획이며, 2022년 12월분부터 다음연도 11월분까지 전기요금 및 통신료를 마을에서 선납 후 매년 12월에 신청하면 된다.

특히, 본 사업의 최대 수혜지역은 금강송면으로, 전기요금이 발생하지 않는 계곡수 사용 마을은 제외하고 전기 및 통신료가 발생하는 지하수 사용 21개 마을 731가구가 혜택을 받게 되고, 지방상수도 공급망이 없는 울진읍 대흥리, 평해읍 오곡2리 물방앗골, 북면 주인3리, 근남면 구산3리와 구산4리 달길, 매화면 덕신2리와 길곡리 죽전, 기성면 삼산2리 등 15개 마을 233가구가 지원을 받게 될 예정이다.
