파주시는 지난 9일 노인 일자리 매장 사업단인 ‘청춘 찬찬찬(정성드림부엌)’의 개소식을 열었다고 밝혔다.
이날 개소식에는 노인 일자리 참여자를 비롯해 파주시장, 박정 국회의원, 이성철 파주시의장 등 15여 명이 참석한 가운데 파주시니어클럽(관장 장승철) 주관으로 내빈소개, 인사말, 축사, 테이프커팅, 매장라운딩 순으로 진행됐다.

금촌 1동에 위치한 ‘청춘 찬찬찬(정성드림부엌)’은 지역 내 독거노인들의 밑반찬을 지원하며 복지형 노인 일자리를 제공할 계획으로 만들어졌다.
이 사업은 파주시에서 경기도로부터 1억5천만원의 노인 일자리 창출 초기 투자비 지원받아 위탁기관인 파주시니어클럽에서 수익 창출 시장형 사업으로 추진 중이며, 총 21명(어르신 20명, 조리사 1명)의 참여자가 근무하고 있다.
김경일 파주시장은 “시민들에게 좋은 먹거리 제공으로 매장이 더욱 번창하길 바란다”며, “어르신들의 사회참여와 소득증대에 도움이 될 수 있도록 수익을 창출할 수 있는 일자리가 확대되게 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
