고양시는 17일 평화누리실에서 시장 및 간부 공무원 30여명이 참석한 가운데 ‘민선8기, 청렴 1등급 달성!’을 위한 청렴실천 결의대회를 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 결의대회는 민선8기 출범을 맞아 공정하고 상식이 통하는 고양특례시 조성을 위해 간부공무원이 앞장서 공직사회의 관행적 부패를 척결하고 모범이 될 것을 다짐하는 자리로 마련됐다.

이날 간부공무원들은 청렴실천 결의문을 통해 △청탁금지법과 이해충돌방지법을 준수하여 시민으로부터 신뢰받는 공직문화 조성에 앞장서며 △직위를 이용한 권한 남용, 이권개입, 알선.청탁을 하지 않으며 △어떠한 경우에도 금품.향응을 받지 않을 것 등을 다짐했다.
이동환 고양특례시장은 “시민에게 약속한 정책 실현을 위해 기본이 되는 것이 공직자의 청렴”이며, “서로 신뢰할 수 있는 공정하고 청렴한 조직문화가 되도록 직원 모두 관심을 갖고 노력해주길 바란다.”고 당부했다.
고양시는 청렴결의가 구호에 그치지 않고 조직 내 청렴문화를 확산하기 위해 찾아가는 청렴 간담회 운영, 갑질 피해 조사 운영지침 마련, 익명신고시스템(K-휘슬) 홍보 및 클린 명함 제작, 공직자 부조리 신고 안내문 제작 등 다양한 시책을 추진하고 있다. 고양=박정호기자
