고양시가 지난 16일 고양어울림누리에서 ‘2022 제3회 고양시 수제품 경진대회’시상식을 개최했다.
고양시 수제품 경진대회는 창조적이고 상품성 있는 우수 수제품 발굴 및 육성을 위해 2020년 처음 시작되어 올해로 제3회를 맞이했다.

이번 대회에는 ▲도자 ▲금속 ▲목재·칠보 ▲섬유·가죽 ▲종이 ▲기타 총 6개 분야에서 69개의 작품이 출품됐다.
시는 품질수준, 상품성, 디자인, 창의성 등에 대해 전문심사를 진행했다.
영예의 대상은 최영미 작가의 손뜨개 작품인 ‘Emotion(섬유분야)’이 차지했다.
해당 작품은 뛰어난 미적 가치와 우수한 실용성이 좋은 평가를 받았다.
금상에는 ▲정지은 ‘선인장(도자분야)’ ▲이정재‘옻칠 차통(금속분야)’이 선정됐으며, 이외에도 은상 4작품과 동상 9작품 등 총 16작품이 선정됐다.

대회 수상자에게는 고양특례시장 상장과 오는 12월 코엑스에서 개최되는 ‘K-핸드메이드페어 2022’에 참가할 수 있는 자격이 주어진다.
박원석 고양시 제1부시장은 “고양시는 2019년 선제적으로 수제품 지원 조례를 제정하는 등 수제품 하기 좋은 도시로 발돋움하기 위한 노력을 계속하고 있다”며 “우수 수제품 발굴뿐만 아니라 판로기반 조성 등 수제품 사업 지원 정책을 계속 지원해 나갈 것”이라고 말했다. 고양=박정호기자
