고양시, 주거위기가구 임시거처 ‘희망더하기주택’ 개소

고양시가 지난 18일 주거위기 가구를 대상으로 긴급지원주택인‘희망더하기주택’을 개소했다.

‘희망더하기주택’개소와 함께 이춘표 고양시 제2부시장, 고양시청 주택과장, (사)주거복지연대가 함께 주택 라운딩을 진행하고 폭우로 침수피해를 입은 입주 가구를 방문해 생필품을 전달했다.

수해피해 임시거처 입주민은 “침수로 인해 당장 갈 곳이 없어 막막했는데 고양시주거복지센터의 도움으로 임시거처에 입주할 수 있었다”며 고마움을 전했다.

이춘표 제2부시장은 “폭우로 침수 피해를 입은 시민께 안식처를 제공할 수 있게 되어 다행이라고 생각한다. 앞으로도 고양시민들이 체감할 수 있는 주거복지 정책과 다양한 주거복지 사업을 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

고양시주거복지센터에서 운영하는 희망더하기주택은 LH 협약을 통해 무상으로 제공받은 매입임대주택 5호에 리모델링 및 가전, 가구 등 빌트인 설치를 완비한 상태로 운영된다. 시는 주거위기가구 대상 임시거처 지원 외에도 다양한 주거상향 지원 사업을 실시하고 있다. [고양=박정호기자]
