고양시가 시의 대표 브랜드인 ‘꽃’의 부가가치 제고를 위해 꽃차 원데이 클래스를 실시했다.
향기로운 연잎차와 메리골드 꽃차를 만드는 수업은 큰 시민 호응을 받았다.
시민과 함께하는 꽃차 원데이 클래스는 고양시민이라면 누구나 수강할 수 있다.
꽃차는 꽃을 덖고 식히는 과정을 반복해 만들어지는데 이번 교육은 기존의 덖는 방식과 다른 발효꽃차를 만들어 보는 시간이었다.

발효꽃차는 꽃의 고유한 향을 보전하면서 맛은 부드러워 인기가 많은 차다.
교육생들은 “이번 교육으로 꽃차를 만드는 또 다른 방법을 배웠다.
다시 확산되는 코로나19로 인해 지친 일상 속에서 마음을 치유하고 생활에 활력을 주는 행복한 과정이었다”며 높은 만족도를 보였다.
농업기술센터 관계자는 “고양시 꽃 브랜드를 활성화하고 꽃 교육이 창업과 연계될 수 있도록 앞으로도 꽃을 활용한 다양한 교육을 추진할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
