[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 아프리카돼지열병(ASF) 경남 재난안전대책본부는 추석 연휴 차량과 사람의 이동 증가로 도내 야생멧돼지나 축산농가에 아프리카돼지열병 발생 위험도가 높아질 것으로 예상되어 ‘추석 대비 아프리카돼지열병 특별 방역대책’을 추진함으로써 아프리카돼지열병 발생을 원천 차단할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
지난 18일, 85일 만에 강원도 양구군 양돈농가에서 아프리카돼지열병이 발생하였고, 야생멧돼지 아프리카돼지열병 발생지역이 경기·강원을 넘어 경북 북부 상주·울진·문경 지역까지 지속 발생하는 등 백두대간을 따라 감염된 야생멧돼지 폐사체 발견이 확대되고 있다.
이번 추석 연휴 기간 차량과 사람의 이동 증가로 바이러스 확산 우려가 크고 벌초나 성묘 등으로 야생멧돼지 서식지 근처를 지났다가 다시 축산농가를 방문하는 상황이 우려된다.
