이창호 한중교류촉진위원회 위원장이 주한 중국대사관으로부터 한중 발전에 기여한 공로에 따른 감사패를 받았다.
싱하이밍 주한 중국대사는 지난 8월24일 한중 수교 30주년을 기념, 이창호 위원장을 비롯한 전국의 주요 인사들에게 감사패를 전달했다. 이창호 위원장은 국내에서 다양한 집필뿐만 아니라 중국을 비롯한 적극적인 국제적 교류를 통해 양국의 관계 개선에 앞장서 왔다. 특히 지난해 국회 정문에서 ‘2022 베이징 동계올림픽’ 성공 개최 지지 기자회견과 이어 6월17일 ‘한중수교 30주년 기념포럼’은 대내외적으로 눈길을 끌었다.
이창호 위원장은 글로벌 시대의 혁신리더, 15억 중국인의 꿈을 지휘하는 리더 ‘시진핑리더십’, 중국을 변화시키는 힘 ‘시진핑 위대한 중국을 품다’,또 문체부=한국출판문화산업진흥원의 2020년 출판 콘텐츠 창작지원사업 선정 도서인 ‘대변환 시대의 팍스 차이나’ 등 다수의 중국 관련 도서를 집필했다. 현재 중국 산동성 곡부사범대학 겸직교수, 위해직업대학 객좌교수, 중한교류친선대사로 활동중이다.
이창호 위원장은 감사패에 대해 "수교 30주년을 맞이하여, 그간의 한중교류촉진위원회의 활동을 높이 사, 이처럼 감사패를 수여해 주시어 감사합니다."며 "앞으로도 변함없이 한중관계의 교두보 역할에 충실하여 두 나라 간에 빛나는 미래를 창출할 수 있도록 하겠습니다."라고 밝혔다.
한중 양국은 1992년 8월 24일 베이징 조어대 국빈관에서 외교관계 수립에 관한 공동 성명을 체결하고 올해로 30돌을 맞았다. 수교 30주년 당일인 8월24일 서울과 베이징에서 양국 외교 장관이 정부 대표로 참석하는 공식 기념행사가 열린다.
