충남도는 도와 관련된 다양한 정보를 한눈에 볼 수 있는 충남 데이터 포털 ‘올담’ 구축을 완료하고 오는 29일부터 서비스를 본격 개시한다고 28일 밝혔다.
올담은 2020년 행정안전부의 ‘지역 빅데이터 공모사업’에 최우수 기관으로 선정돼 추진한 사업으로, 데이터 기반의 과학적 행정 활성화를 위해 지난해 도·시군 공무원을 대상으로 서비스를 시작한 바 있다.
올해는 공공데이터를 개방·공유함으로써 민간의 데이터 활용을 촉진하고 새로운 서비스 및 공공 가치를 창출하고자 올담 기능 개선 사업을 진행해 대민 서비스 포털을 추가로 구축했다.
올담 대민 서비스 포털은 △데이터 제공 △데이터 활용 △통계 △소식 및 참여 △이용 안내 등 5개 메뉴로 구성했으며, 도민 생활에 밀접한 문화관광·보건·복지·재난안전 정보부터 일자리·기업 유치·인구 동향 등 각종 통계 정보까지 약 3600여 건의 공공데이터를 제공한다.
데이터는 포털 이용자 누구나 쉽게 내려받아 활용할 수 있고, 개방한 응용 프로그래밍 인터페이스(API, applications programming interface)를 이용해 다양한 서비스·애플리케이션도 개발할 수 있다.
아울러 올담에서는 개인 보유 데이터를 활용해 다양한 시각화 자료를 제작할 수 있는 ‘셀프 분석 서비스’를 비롯해 통신 기반 유동 인구, 도민 경제, 교통사고 등과 관련된 분석 시각화 자료도 제공한다.
또 유가 정보, 대중교통 운행 정보 등 외부 데이터를 활용해 출장 증빙을 간소화하고 자동 계산해주는 ‘출장여비 증빙 간소화 서비스’도 이용할 수 있다.
충남도는 앞으로 올담을 통해 산업, 경제, 환경, 안전 등 다양한 분야에서 도민 생활에 밀접하고 활용도가 높은 데이터를 지속 발굴·개방할 계획이며, 골목상권, 관광, 축제 등 여러 분야의 데이터 분석 사업도 추진해 도민에게 개방·공유할 방침이라고 밝혔다.
