파주시는 29일 오전 파주시의회 세미나실에서 제20기 민주평통 파주시협의회 지역대표 자문위원에게 위촉장을 전수했다.
이번 행사는 최정윤 협의회장, 자문위원 등 30여 명이 참석한 가운데 김경일 파주시장이 대통령을 대신해 지역대표 위원(도의원·시의원) 총 18명에게 위촉장을 전수했다.

최정윤 협의회장은 “이번에 새롭게 위촉된 지역대표를 포함한 자문위원 모두가 임기 동안 한마음 한뜻으로 시민의 평화통일 공감대 형성을 위한 사업들을 진행해 나갈 수 있길 바란다”고 말했다.
김경일 파주시장은 “새로 위촉된 자문위원들에게 축하의 말씀을 드린다“며 ”앞으로 협의회장을 비롯한 자문위원들이 힘을 합쳐 평화통일 공감대 형성 및 평화공존 분위기 확산을 위해 활발한 활동을 해주시길 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
